Traditional Soap Making
Learn the fundamentals of Traditional Soap Making in this hands-on workshop where you will learn the techniques, ingredients and equipment needed to make your own sudsy bars. We will touch on some "fun science" (the backbone of soap making), the differences in ingredients, soap making methods and techniques to then create your own custom bars equaling over 2 lbs. or 14 bars. Participants will mix, customize and mold your own bars to take home. All supplies including a detailed handout containing all the information discussed during the class with recipes and instructions.
Participants must have legs covered and closed toed shoes. Safety glasses, gloves and aprons will be provided. Please bring an old towel to wrap your soap in and a bag to transport it home.

Advanced Soapmaking with Colour and Design
Join us for the Colour and Design Workshop where you will be able to design and colour your own soap.
We will review various ingredients that add colour to your soap and also learn some basic design techniques that allow you to create your own soapy masterpiece.
Participants will mix, customize and mold your own bars and take home over 2 lbs of soap that equals 14 bars once cut.
All supplies, including a detailed handout containing all the information discussed during the class with recipes and instructions.
Students will add scent to their soap with fragrance oils provided. If they wish to use Essential oils they are welcome to bring their own to add

Needle Felt Workshop
Learn to needle felt by creating a cute owl figure where you get to choose what colors you want to use and what style to make the face. Instructor Cathy Disbrow will teach you how to needle felt the basic owl shapes and then show you different felting techniques for detailing. Students will receive some basic wool colors and can choose from other colors to decorate their owl. There will be needle felt owl photos to help guide students in their creativity. Owl sits approx. 3" tall. Owl can be turned into an ornament.

Christmas 10" Pot
This beautiful Christmas 10" pot can stand alone or be used as an insert in your decorative urn. We will use cedar, pine & spruce along with ribbons, pinecones, dogwood and seasonal inserts (owls, snow shoes, signs etc.).
There are also additional inserts available for purchase if you want more inserts that what is supplied. We walk you through each step of the way to create a beautiful arrangement.

Outdoor Christmas Wreath
This outdoor traditional Christmas wreath will be made with an assortment of fresh greens (pine, spruce & cedar), along with ribbons, cones and berries. You will be taught the tricks and tips to fastening to the frame, layering and creating a beautiful outoor wreath!
